Ramhon Choe Jeong U’s guitar solo album ≪ Officium divinum ≫.

Ramhon Choe Jeong U’s first guitar solo album ≪ Officium divinum ≫(2021). He is Korean philosopher, composer, literary and art critic, the author of two philosophical essays, ≪ La partition de la pensee ≫(2011) and ≪ Rarete en lambeaux, sublimite en gaspillant ≫(2020) and the vocalist/guitarist of the rock trio “Renata Suicide”(whose album was world-widely released in 2019 by the distribution of Sound Press). This album ≪ Officium divinum ≫ contains 13 pieces for solo acoustic/classical guitar that he selected among his compositions during 25 years between 1996 and 2021, as a kind of milestone that reflects his musical past, present and future. Particularly, the booklet of this album (designed by Lee Hye Won) is a beautiful piece in itself, filled with the composer’s texts and Jang Pa’s art works. In a sense, all the guitar solo works will be divided before and after this album.
